Using mumzworld


I’ve never shopped online before. How does mumzworld work?
We’ve made shopping on mumzworld as easy as possible – search, compare and buy. In each department, you can search for a product by category, price, age, brand, gender or size. If you can’t make up your mind you can compare up to eight products by price or specifications. You can also read what real customers think, as many of our products have been reviewed and rated by them. When you find a product you want, just add it to your cart and once you have everything you need, click on the checkout button.
Making a payment at mumzworld is secure and simple. You can use any major credit card (we don’t accept debit cards yet – but we’re working on it), PayPal or cash on delivery (COD). You’ll then be asked for your bank details and delivery address. If you’ve registered with mumzworld, you don’t even need to do this as your details will be automatically retrieved when you enter your password.
Now you can sit back and leave the rest up to us, as everything is delivered straight to the address of your choice. Delivery takes 1-3 working days in the UAE, 5-7 working days across the MENA region and 7-10 working days for the rest of the world. Top

Yes, that’s the beauty of mumzworld! Once you’ve selected a department, just scroll down the left hand column of the page for all the search categories. You can also compare up to eight products at any one time. Top
I need help selecting a gift, where can I find some suggestions?
Check out our Listastic section, where we often list selected top rated products and must-haves on mumzworld. If you’re in our community section, you can search for key words, such as ‘8 year old girl’. If you already have an idea of the product you want you can compare up to eight products, you can also read customer reviews to make sure you’ve made the right choice. How do I know what the best products are in each product range?
Only you can decide what’s best for you, but to help you make that decision, all our products come with detailed descriptions, including size, age guide and special features. How do I know what size clothes to buy?
To avoid any confusion, we created a size guide to help you work out which age range you need to buy and give you corresponding heights and weights for every size. It also has a handy conversion chart, so you can work out the size you need in US, UK and European sizes.
All our children’s clothes are sized by age, with under-twos in months and over-twos in years. But please remember that sizes do vary by brand and age ranges are only approximate, so if your child’s birth range was significantly above or below average should take this is into consideration when working out what size to buy. In addition to age guides, some children’s clothes come with weight and height guidelines, which are listed in the product specifications when provided by the manufacturer.
If you’re shopping for yourself, then you’ll be pleasantly surprised to find that buying maternity wear isn’t as baffling as you thought as most maternity wear allows for your bump to grow to full term- even if you’re expecting triplets! However, if you’ve gone up a dress size then take this into consideration. Top
How can I be sure that a product is safe for my child?
We understand that your children are precious to you, which is why every product at mumzworld tested to stringent international safety standards. For your part, take note of the suggested age, height or weight guidelines for products, and take your time to read the descriptions, which may list compatible stages of development such as the ability to roll over or hold head up unsupported.
Products for babies and children are tested to make sure the materials used are not allergenic. However, some youngsters are more sensitive than others, so if your baby or child shows signs of a mild allergy such as a rash, watery, itchy or congested eyes, or severe signs such as itchiness, cramps, vomiting, difficulty breathing and swelling you should contact their doctor straight away, and don’t rule out any food or products they have come into contact with. What if I need more detailed product specifications?
At mumzworld, it’s our number one priority to make sure you’re as comfortable and confident as you can be about your purchase. If you have any questions, just drop our customer service team an email quoting the product reference and your query. If we don’t get back to you within a few of working hours, then it’s because we’re on the phone to the manufacturer to get the answer for you.

We don’t share your personal details with companies that are not part of the payment, order or delivery process. Can I view Mumzworld in Arabic or another language?
Yes, you can now view Mumzworld in Arabic. We have recently launched our Arabic website. That’s the only other language for the moment, but we’ll keep you updated on future developments. Top

I’ve been told my friend has a Gift Registry on Mumzworld, what is it and how can I access it?
The mumzworld Gift Registry makes shopping even easier than ever– it ensures you chose exactly the right present, and better still – that no-one else has brought it! To access your friend’s registry, simply click on Gift Registry in the top right hand corner of the screen. You’ll be prompted to enter the full name of your friend or family member or the Gift Registry ID number- and a password if they have set one. If you still can’t find the Gift Registry you’re looking for, try dropping our customer service team an email  for more assistance. When you’ve selected the gift you want to buy, you’ll be asked to enter your mumzworld account name and password to proceed with the purchase. If you don’t have a mumzworld account it only takes a few minute sign up for one and you’ll be able to make secure orders in no time at all.

How can I use my discount voucher?

Simply enter  the voucher code upon checkout to benefit from the discount.  First. add your items to your shopping cart. Second, enter your voucher code at checkout: " Do you have a Gift certificate or Coupon? Click here to apply". If you need more information on how to use your discount voucher or gift certificate just go to our Gift Certificates page. Please note that the discount voucher is not valid for items on sale, milk and food items or diapers. It cannot be used together with any other promotional vouchers.

What are the payment options available?

For your convenience, we offer the following payment options - credit card, PayPal, and cash on delivery. The last option is available in UAE and in Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, kindly note that it is not applicable for personalized items.

How can I know the prices of your products in currencies other than United Arab Emirates Dirham?

Here at mumzworld, we strive to make our customers shopping experience as easy and as transparent as possible. To know the price in another currency, we have a currency converter located on the upper right side of the page, next to "Sign In" or "My Account" (if you are logged in). How can I change my email, home address or password?

Changing your details could not be easier, log into your Mumzworld account. When clicking on My Details or Shipping addresses you will be given the option to update your account details and then press Save.

Could you have chosen Partial Shipping at the checkout? If so we’ve sent you the items that were available first and then we will send you the remaining items in a second delivery. If you have not chosen this option please contact the customer care team for advice on +97144339455 or contact us

What do I do if my item is damaged?

Here at Mumzworld, our team takes special care of each order to ensure your order reaches you in perfect condition. On the odd occasion that you do receive a damaged item, please fill in the Returns Form by following the link below and your case will be processed at the earliest possible. Out of stock items

Why do we display products that are out of stock online?

We’re sorry if the item you want is out of stock. We continue to show out of stock products online so that you have access to the product details or so that you can buy it at a later date when the item is back in stock. You may also select to be contacted when the item comes back in to stock.

What does my status mean?
  • Processing means your order has been confirmed and is now being prepared.
  • Shipped means your order has now left the Mumzworld Warehouse, you will receive an email and SMS confirming dispatch.
  • Delivered means your order has been delivered to the given shipping address.
  • Cancelled means your order has been cancelled either by you or us.

How quickly can I return an item?

Our returns procedure is simple and easy if the product is unopened and still in its original condition and packaging you can return within 7 calendar days from the date of receipt. Please click here to fill out our return form.

Kindly send back the item to Mumzworld Headquarters: Office B407-B408, 4th Floor, Building 4, Dubai Design District, Dubai, UAE.  If you request a pickup service for the items to be returned or exchanged, a charge of 23 AED will be applied. What if I receive an item with manufacturing defect?
We are very sorry if you have received an item and there seems to be something wrong with it. Our Mumzworld team work very hard to ensure our products are of the highest quality for you. What items are not eligible for return?

Products we can’t process for return are listed below: 

  • Books.
  • CDs/ DVDs
  • Diapers
  • Baby wipes
  • Milk & nutrition items
  • Potty training items
  • Undergarments
  • Maternity Belt
  • Clothing/footwear items without the original packaging and tags
  • Personalized items
  • Products with extended delivery time
  • Items on sale
  • Electronic items where the original seal is broken
  • Items that are not in original condition and packaging (For example, it came in a sealed box or plastic packaging and this was removed, broken or torn)
  • Damaged items due to misuse or showing signs of wear and tear, even if they are still under warranty period
  • Items that have been assembled, used, altered or installed, unless defective
  • Items that were sealed and require their hygienic levels to be intact from the manufacturer
  • Santa delivery orders are not eligible for return and refund unless damaged

How much do you charge for International Shipping?

We aim to deliver to all international addresses within 7-10 working days across all major countries.

Shipping rates are determined by weight and location. Please review the shipping fees towards the end of the checkout process.

Using your Gift Certificate couldn’t be easier. You should have received a Gift Certificate code which you enter in the correct field on the Shopping Cart page. The Gift Certificate amount will automatically be deducted from your total bill.

Why did the price of an item change from the previous delivery?

From time to time, prices of items may change due to market conditions. However, you will always receive a 5% discount on Subscribe & Save orders.
